The Bid History Profile Summary contains all the settings and information recorded for the profile. When a bid history profile is associated with a cost estimate, a copy of the profile is attached to the cost estimate and displayed on the User Bid History Profile Summary, where it can be modified as needed for that cost estimate. Changes made to a user bid history profile do not affect the original reference bid history profile (see Maintaining a User Bid History Profile).
To access the Bid History Profile Summary, click the Bid History Profiles link in the Estimation component, locate the profile you want to view, and then either click the Bid History Profile link or select Open from the row Actions menu.
The Bid History Profile Summary opens on the General tab, which allows you to view or change the following information:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed. Click the Save button when you are finished. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.

Click this tab to view or change advanced parameters for the profile, such as whether to generate averages and regressions, and which variables to include in the price calculation (see Setting Advanced Parameters for a Bid History Profile). |

Click this tab to view or change filters that exclude historical bid data according to specific proposal information (see Setting Advanced Filters for a Bid History Profile). |
Source Data |
Click this tab to view the list of pre-gathered historical data for a Bid History Profile. (see Maintaining Source Data for a Bid History Profile). Note: Source Data will only be populated in this tab if the process to Get Bid History Profile Source Data has been completed. See Getting Source Data from a Bid History Profile. |
To add a new bid history profile, select Add New from the Actions menu on the component header. For more information, see Adding a Bid History Profile.
If you want to create a new bid history profile that is similar to this profile, you can save time by copying the profile and changing any details as needed. To copy the profile, select Copy from the Actions menu on the component header. See Copying a Bid History Profile for more information.
