Managing Contract Time

Contract times are records of time-related information important to the contract. There are five types of contract time records: Available Time, Calendar Time, Completion Date, Informational, and Recurring. Examples of contract times include the notice to proceed date (informational), the number of available days for contract completion (available time), and the schedule for inspections (recurring).

When you click the Contract Time link in the Construction component, the system takes you to the Contract Time Overview component where you can maintain contract times for all the contracts you work with. Type criteria in the Quick Find search box to locate the contract time you want to maintain, or click Show first 10. The system displays a list of contract times that match your search criteria. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To change the information for a contract time, click the Time ID link in the list or select Open from the Actions menu on the contract time row to go to the Contract Time Summary.

To delete a contract time, select Delete from the Actions menu on the contract time row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
