Managing Proposal Selection Sets
A proposal selection set is a saved subset of proposals based on chosen criteria.
The Proposal Selection Set Overview component lists all of the proposal selection sets that you have access to in the system. This includes records that are public and private records that you have created. You will not see any other user’s private proposal selection sets. To access the component from the dashboard, click the Proposal Selection Set link in the Data Analytics component.
Locate a specific proposal selection set in the list by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.
The system displays a list of all the records that meet your search criteria. Each row includes an Actions button and the current values for the following fields:
The component Actions menu has the following functions:

Select Add to add a new record. See Adding a Proposal Selection Set.

Note: If the record you are adding is similar to an existing record, you can save time by creating a copy of the existing record. See Copying a Proposal Selection Set.
Select Open to open the current record. See Maintaining a Proposal Selection Set.
The row Actions menu has the following functions:

Select Copy to create a new record by copying the current record. See Copying a Proposal Selection Set.
Select Delete to delete a record. Select the Undo button to reverse the delete action. Click the Save button.

Note: You can only delete records you have created.
Select Exclude from Search Results to exclude a record from your search.
Tasks
Select Generate Proposal Selection Results Set to run your selected query criteria. See Viewing Result Sets.
Views
Select Attachments to manage attachments. The Attachments link includes the number of files attached to this record. See Working with Attachments.
Select Links to manage links. See Working with Links.
Select Tracked Issues to manage tracked issues. See Maintaining Tracked Issue Information.
Reports
If the system includes reports for this component, they will display in this section, alphabetically. Select the report you want to run. See Working with Reports.
Historical Reports
Click the Save button when you are finished.
Copying a Proposal Selection Set
You can copy any public proposal selection set or a private proposal selection set where you are the creator. To copy a proposal selection set, follow these steps:

Locate the proposal selection you want to copy.

Select Copy from the row Actions menu on the proposal selection set row.
The system will open the Copy Proposal Selection Set modal window. -
Replace the current value in the New Proposal Selection Set Name field with a unique value for the new record.

Enter a value in the Description field.

Click the Copy button.
The system validates the new proposal selection set name and adds the new record to the database.
