Maintaining a Proposal Selection Set

A proposal selection set is a saved subset of proposals based on chosen criteria. 

The Proposal Selection Set Summary includes all the information currently associated with the proposal selection set, the query criteria, and the list of proposals.

To access the Proposal Selection Set Summary from the dashboard, click the Proposal Selection Set link in the Data Analytics component. From the Project Selection Set Overview, locate the record you want to view, then click the link under the Proposal Selection Set heading or choose Open from the row Actions menu.

The Proposal Selection Set Summary contains the following tabs:

General	Access general information for the proposal selection set. See On the General tab, below.
Data Selection	Access a list of query criteria to create the list of proposals for the proposal selection set. See Working with Data Selection.
Advanced Filters	Access a list of advanced query criteria to create the list of proposals for the proposal selection set. See Working with Advanced Filters.
Result Sets	Access the resulting list of proposals that match the query criteria for the proposal selection set. See Viewing Result Sets.

Click in a field to add, change, or delete information as needed. Click the Save button when you are finished.

Click the Execute button to run the query with any saved criteria from the Data Selection and Advanced Filters tabs. Your results will display on the Result Set tab.

Quick Links

Quick links are displayed in blue text below the Menu Bar and above the webpage title. These links allow you to quickly jump to application pages related to the current page.

Actions

Select Add New to add a new record. See Adding a Proposal Selection Set.

• Note: If the record you are adding is similar to an existing record, you can save time by creating a copy of the existing record.

Select Add Proposals from Another Proposal Selection Set to join the result set from another proposal selection set to the current proposal selection set. See Adding Proposals from Another Proposal Selection Set.

Select Add Proposals to add any proposal to your result set. See Adding Proposals to the Proposal Selection Set.

Select Copy to create a new record by copying the current record.  See Copying a Proposal Selection Set.

Select Delete to delete a record. Select the Undo button to reverse the delete action. Click the Save button.

Views

Select Attachments to manage attachments. The Attachments link includes the number of files attached to this record. See Working with Attachments.

Select Issues to manage tracked issues. See Maintaining Tracked Issue Information.

Select Tracked Issues to manage tracked issues. See Maintaining Tracked Issue Information.

Select Links to manage links. See Working with Links.

Attachments and Links

If the system includes attachments and links for this entity or globally, they will display in this section, alphabetically. See Working with Attachments.

Reports

If the system includes reports for this component, they will display in this section, alphabetically. Select the report you want to run. See Working with Reports.

Historical Reports

If the system includes historical reports for this component, they will display in this section, alphabetically. Select the historical report you want to run. See Historical Reports.

Click the Save button when you are finished.

Adding Proposals From Another Proposal Selection Set

To add proposals from another proposal selection set to your current set, follow these steps:

1. From the Proposal Selection Set Summary page, select Add Proposals from another Proposal Selection Set from the component Actions menu.

   The system will open the Select Proposal Selection Set modal window.

2. Locate the proposal selection set you want to add using the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.

3. Click on a row to mark it for selection. A check mark displays next to the row. Click the row again to deselect it.

4. Click the Copy Proposals to Proposal Selection Set button.

   The system will return to the Proposal Selection Set Summary page and display a message confirming that the proposals were copied to the existing proposal set.

Adding Proposals to the Proposal Selection Set

To add proposals directly to a proposal selection set without having them meet the query criteria, follow these steps:

1. From the Proposal Selection Set Summary page, select Add Proposals from the component Actions menu.

   The system will open the Select Proposals to Add modal window.

2. Locate the proposal(s) you want to add using the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.

3. Click on a row to mark it for selection. A check mark displays next to the row. Click the row again to deselect it. Select as many proposals as you would like to add to the proposal selection set.

4. Click the Add to Proposal Selection Set button.

   The system will return to the Proposal Selection Set Summary page and display a message confirming that the proposal(s) were added.

Click the Save button when you are finished.
