The Item Group Summary contains all of the information recorded for the item group, including the list of reference items it contains.
To access the component, navigate to the Item Group Set Summary, click the Item Groups tab, locate the item group you want to view, and then select Open from the Actions menu on the item group row.
The component opens on the General tab. You can view or change information in these fields:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.
Note: When this component is accessed from a reference item (by selecting the Create Item Group command on the Item Summary or Item Overview, or by selecting the Copy Reference Item command on the Item Group Set Summary), all of the fields on the General tab except Obsolete Date are read-only. For more information, see Creating an Item Group from a Reference Item or Copying a Reference Item as a New Item Group.
When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
To create a new item group in the same item group set, select Add New from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Add Item Group component. See Adding an Item Group for more information.
