Managing Materials

This section provides information necessary for using the Materials business areas of AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials.

Accurate management of the materials used in highway construction is vital to the success of the agency's projects. The Materials business area of the application provides materials-related information and assists laboratory operations for sampling, testing, and reporting for all materials used in agency road and bridge construction.

The Materials component is the gateway to other components in the application you will use to manage these areas of responsibility. To access other components, click the link for the area you want to access, or select Open from the Actions menu on the appropriate row.

You can also perform tasks directly from the Materials component. You can add a new sample record by selecting Add from the row Actions menu for Sample Records, Find Sample, or Review Samples. You can add a new daily source report by selecting Add from the row Actions menu for Daily Source Reports.
