Maintaining Proposal Times

A proposal time is a specific time period during which a defined amount of work is to be accomplished. There are different types of times, but each proposal must have at least one time row of the total contract time type recorded before the proposal can be let. Subsequent proposal times can be added throughout the life of the proposal. If a proposal has more than one time row, the total contract time is designated as the main (or controlling) proposal time.

The Time tab on the Proposal Summary component contains an accordion list of all the time rows that currently exist for the proposal. Each row displays the Time ID and Time Description and a Delete button. To maintain a proposal time, expand the row to display all the available information. You can add and change information in these fields:

Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.

To delete a proposal time, select Delete from the Actions menu on the appropriate row.
