Maintaining OJT Program Enrollments

Reference employees may be enrolled in one or more on-the-job training (OJT) programs, and may work on multiple federal-aid contracts. These OJT program enrollments must be monitored by agency labor administration. For more information about OJT training programs, see Maintaining OJT Program Information.

The OJT Trainee tab on the Reference Employee Summary component contains a list of all the OJT programs in which the employee is currently enrolled. Each row in the list represents one OJT program enrollment. Each row displays an Action button and the current value for the Reference OJT Program field.

To maintain an OJT program enrollment, click anywhere in the row to expand the row and display all the available information. You can view or change information in these fields:

To add a new OJT program for the employee, click the New button. The system adds a new row at the bottom of the list. All fields in the new row are blank. To create a new OJT program, you must enter information in all fields that display a red asterisk. Record information in other fields as needed to add additional information to the row.

To delete an OJT program enrollment, select Delete from the Actions menu on the OJT program's row.

When you have finished making changes to OJT program enrollments for the employee, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

To access a list of the contracts that are assigned to an OJT program, select Contract Assignments from the Actions menu on the OJT program enrollment's row. For more information, see Assigning Contracts to an OJT Program Enrollment.
