Maintaining DBE Vendor Information

The DBE Vendor component is located in the lower part of the Proposal Vendor DBE Commitment Summary page. You can access this page by locating the proposal vendor on the Proposal Vendor Summary, and then selecting Open DBE Commitment from the Actions menu on the proposal vendor row.

The upper part of the page contains the Proposal Vendor DBE Commitment Summary component. For information about this component, see Maintaining a Proposal Vendor DBE Commitment.

The DBE Vendor component contains DBE commitment information, including work types, work items, materials, and trucking, for all the DBE vendors associated with the proposal vendor. The component allows you to revise and review each DBE vendor's commitments.

• Note: DBE haulers, regular dealers, manufacturers, and service providers must follow the counting rules in 49 CFR 26.55.

The DBE Vendor component opens on the General tab. All of the tabs display information about the DBE vendor selected in the DBE Vendor box on the component subheader. To access information for a different DBE vendor, click the down arrow in the DBE Vendor box and select the DBE vendor in the list. You can also select a DBE commitment using the arrow buttons on the right side of the subheader to scroll through all the DBE vendors associated with the proposal vendor.

For the selected DBE vendor, you can view or change the following information:

• Reference Vendor ID

• Commitment Amount

• Race Conscious Amount

• Race Neutral Amount

• Comments

• Reference Vendor Name

• Primary DBE WBE

• Ethnic Group

• DBE Proposal Vendor

If your agency uses external access, the DBE vendor information on this component is read-only and maintained by non-agency users.

If your agency does not use external access, you can click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed. When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

If your agency does not use external access, you can add a new DBE vendor commitment to the proposal vendor by selecting Add from the Actions menu on the DBE Vendor component header. For more information, see Adding a DBE Commitment to a Proposal Vendor.

To maintain additional information about the selected DBE vendor's commitment, click the following tabs:

Work Types	Click this tab to view or maintain work types for the selected DBE vendor (see Maintaining DBE Vendor Work Types).
Work Items	Click this tab to view or maintain work items for the selected DBE vendor (see Maintaining DBE Vendor Work Items).
Materials	Click this tab to view or maintain materials information for the selected DBE vendor (see Maintaining DBE Vendor Materials).
Trucking	Click this tab to view or maintain trucking information for the selected DBE vendor (see Maintaining DBE Vendor Trucking).
Revised Commitment	Click this tab to view or maintain revised commitments from the proposal vendor (see Revising DBE Vendor Commitment Information). Note: This tab is not available until after the DBE commitment has been signed and revised.
Review	Click this tab to review the DBE vendor's commitment (see Reviewing a DBE Vendor Commitment). Note: This tab is not available until after the DBE commitment has been signed.
