Adjusting Contract Time in a Locked Diary

In this Topic

  1. Adding a Diary Adjustment

The Diary Adjustments tab on the Contract Progress Summary enables you to make changes to contract times in a contract diary after the estimate has been created and the diary locked. The tab contains a list of all the time adjustments currently recorded for the contract, listed by Time ID.

To view or change an existing adjustment, locate the adjustment row using the Quick Find search box if necessary and expand the row. Each row contains an Actions button. Expand a row to display current values for all of the available fields:

You can change information in the Current Time Charge and Comments fields.

To delete a diary adjustment, select Delete from the Actions menu on the adjustment row. The system shades the row to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button. Click Save when you are finished to apply your changes to the system.

Select Open Contract Time to access additional information about the associated time record. See Maintaining a Contract Time Record - Available Time.

To access additional information about the daily diary associated with an adjustment, select Open Diary from the Actions menu on the adjustment row. The system takes you to the Contract Daily Diary Summary (see Maintaining a Daily Diary).

Adding a Diary Adjustment

Follow these steps to make an adjustment to time charges in a locked diary:

  1. On the Contract Progress Summary, click the Diary Adjustments tab, and then click the Select Diary Contract Time Charges button.

The system displays a modal window for selecting diary time charges in this contract.

  2. Locate the date for the diary you want to adjust, using the Quick Find search box if necessary. Select the row.

The system adds a check mark beside the diary you choose. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  3. Click the Add to Diary Adjustments button.

The system closes the modal window and takes you to the Contract Times tab on the Contract Daily Diary Summary.

  4. Make the required modifications to the diary's contract time and click the Save button.

The system saves the new time information and adds a new diary adjustment record to the Diary Adjustments tab on the Contract Progress Summary component (see Recording Time Information in a Daily Diary).
