Recording Time Information in a Daily Diary

Contract times are records of time-related information important to the contract. There are five types of contract time records: Available Time, Calendar Time, Completion Date, Informational, and Recurring. Examples of contract times include the notice to proceed date (informational), the number of available days for contract completion (available time), and the schedule for inspections (recurring).

The Contract Times tab on the Contract Daily Diary Summary contains an accordion list of all the active contract times recorded in the diary, listed by Time ID. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To add or change additional information in the contract time record, click the Time ID link to go to the Contract Time Summary associated with this daily diary.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

Applying Time Information from a DWR to the Diary

If contract time information has been recorded in an associated DWR, and you want to apply that information to the daily diary, follow these steps:

  1. On the Contract Daily Diary Summary, click the Contract Times tab, and then select Apply DWR Contract Time from the Actions menu on the contract time row.

    The system displays a modal window listing the DWRs associated with the diary. Only DWRs with a status of Approved or Pending Approval are included in the list.

  2. Locate the DWR from which you want to apply time information by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.

    The system lists all the DWRs that meet your search criteria.

  3. Click the row for appropriate DWR.

    The system adds a check mark beside your selection and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click another row.

  4. Click the Apply DWR Contract Time button.

    The system closes the modal window and takes you to the Contract Times tab of the Contract Daily Diary Summary with the new information added to the list.

  5. Click the Save button.

    The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
