Adding Staff for a DWR Contractor

Employees of the vendor who are paid on a salaried basis are referred to as vendor staff.

The Contractor Staff tab on the Contract Daily Work Report Summary contains a list of the staff being reported on this DWR for each contractor on site. Staff records are grouped by contractor in accordion rows. Expand an accordion row to display the staff for that contractor in subordinate rows. Each staff row contains an Actions button and current information for these fields:

To change information in a staff row, click anywhere in the row. The system highlights the row in blue. Click in any field and add or change information as required.

To delete a staff row, select Delete form the Actions menu on the row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you have finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

Adding Staff for a DWR Contractor

You can add staff for the DWR contractor in one of two ways on the Contractor Staff tab:

To add staff from a list of staff associated with the contract vendor, choose Select Staff from the Actions menu on the contractor row. The system opens a modal window for selecting staff associated with the contractor.
To add staff from reference data, choose Select Employee from the Actions menu on the contractor row. The system opens a modal window for selecting reference employees.

Follow these steps in the modal window to add to add one or more contractor staff members to the DWR:

Locate the staff or employees you want to select by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.

The system lists rows that meet your search criteria.
Click each row you want to add.

The system adds a check mark beside each row you select and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.
When you are finished selecting staff or employee rows, click the Add to DWR Contractor Staff button.

The system closes the modal window and adds the new rows to the list on the Contractor Staff tab.
When you are finished, click the Save button to apply your changes.

The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
