Maintaining the Structure for Design Evaluations

The agency performs evaluations to rate the quality of contract project designs. The reference evaluation is composed of a structure of agency-defined questions and rating scores. This structure is used as the basis for evaluating individual contract project designs. The system allows for only one reference design evaluation at a time.

The Design Evaluation Overview enables you to create and maintain the reference design evaluation and provides access to maintaining the other elements in the evaluation structure. To access this component, click the Design Evaluation & Structure link in the Reference Data component.

The component displays one design evaluation row, which contains an Actions button and the current Evaluation Name. You can change the Evaluation Name if needed.

If the reference design evaluation does not yet exist, you can create it by clicking the New button. The system displays a new blank row. Click in the Evaluation Name field and enter text to identify the reference design evaluation. Click Save.

To delete the reference design evaluation, select Delete from the row Actions menu.

To create or maintain evaluation groups and questions that make up the structure of the reference design evaluation, select Open from the row Actions menu. The system takes you to the Design Evaluation Summary (see Maintaining a Design Evaluation Structure).

To create or maintain the rating scores used in contract design evaluations, click the Evaluation Ratings quick link. The system takes you to the Design Evaluation Rating Overview (see Maintaining Ratings for Design Evaluations).
