Maintaining a Market Area

The Market Area Summary includes all of the information recorded about a market area. To access the summary, locate the market area you want to view on the Market Area Overview, and click the Market Area link or select Open from the Actions menu on the market area row.

The component opens on the General tab, which allows you to view or change information in these fields:

Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed. When you finish making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

To add a new market area to the system, select Add New from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Add Market Area component. For more information, see Adding a Market Area.

To add a new market area that is based on this market area, select Copy from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Copy Market Area component. For more information, see Copying a Market Area.
