The Regions/Counties tab on the Market Area Summary displays an accordion list of all of the regions and counties included in the market area.
Each region row displays the Area Region name and Description, along with the number of counties included in the region. Expand a region row to view or change the counties in that region.
To add a new county to a region, enter a value in the empty county row at the bottom of the list of counties. Within a market area, a county can be added to only one region.
To delete a newly added county row, click the Delete button on the county row. The system deletes the row immediately. To delete a saved county from a region, click the Mark for Deletion button on the county row. To reverse the mark for deletion, click the Undo button.
To add a new region to the reference market area, click the New button. The system adds a new blank row at the bottom of the list of regions. To save the new region, you must enter an Area Region name. You can also enter one or more counties included in the region.
To delete a newly added region row, click the Delete button on the region row. The system deletes the row immediately. To delete a saved region from a market area, select Delete from the Actions menu on the region row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
