Maintaining a Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule for a Cost Estimate

The Cost Estimate Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule Summary contains all of the information recorded for a cost estimate maintenance schedule. To access the summary from the Cost Estimate Summary, click the Life Cycle Costs quick link, locate the cost estimate maintenance schedule you want to view, and then select Open from the Actions menu on the maintenance schedule row.

The Cost Estimate Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule Summary opens on the General tab. You can view or change values in these fields:

Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed. When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

To recommend the maintenance schedule to be available to other users as a reference profile, select Recommend as Reference from the Actions menu on the component header. This action is available only if the maintenance schedule does not already have a recommendation waiting to be approved, rejected, or deleted (see Reviewing Reference Recommendations).

To remove the recommended maintenance schedule from consideration as a reference profile, select Cancel Recommendation from the Actions menu on the component header. This action is available only if the maintenance schedule has a recommendation that has not been approved, rejected, or deleted (see Reviewing Reference Recommendations).

To create a new maintenance schedule and add it to the cost estimate, select Add New from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Add Cost Estimate Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule component. For more information, see Adding a Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule to a Cost Estimate.
