A maintenance schedule profile identifies maintenance tasks that are expected to occur over the life span of an improvement. When a profile is associated with a cost estimate, it enables you to compare and analyze the life cycle costs involved for different designs.

The Cost Estimate Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule Overview lists all of the maintenance schedules associated with the selected cost estimate. To access the overview, navigate to the Cost Estimate Summary, and click the Life Cycle Costs quick link.

Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:

To delete a maintenance schedule from the cost estimate, select Delete from the Actions menu on the maintenance schedule row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

To view or change additional information about a maintenance schedule, click the Profile link, or select Open from the Actions menu on the maintenance schedule row. For more information, see Maintaining a Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule for a Cost Estimate.

To create a new maintenance schedule and add it to the cost estimate, click the Add button. The system takes you to the Add Cost Estimate Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule component. For more information, see Adding a Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule to a Cost Estimate.
