The Reference Cost Sheet Summary enables you to add a new cost sheet or modify an existing cost sheet. To modify an existing cost sheet, navigate to the Reference Cost Sheet Overview, and select Open from the Actions menu on the cost sheet row. To add a new cost sheet, navigate to the Reference Cost Sheet Overview, and select Add from the Actions menu on the component header.
The Reference Cost Sheet Summary component opens on the General tab. If you are adding a new cost sheet, all the fields are blank. You can view or change information in these fields:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as required.
To add the laborers and equipment from a reference crew to the cost sheet, select Add Reference Crew from the Actions menu on the component header. The system displays a modal window for selecting crews. Select one or more crews you want to add, and then click Save Reference Crew. The system saves your changes, closes the modal window, and adds the laborers and equipment from the selected crews to the list on the Laborers and Equipment tabs, respectively.
To create a new cost sheet, select Add New from the Actions menu on the component header. The system displays the Reference Cost Sheet Summary with all fields blank. To save the new cost sheet, you must enter values in the Cost Sheet, Unit System, and Unit of Measure fields.
When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
To copy a cost sheet, select Copy from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Copy Reference Cost Sheet component (see Copying a Cost Sheet).
