Maintaining Material Acceptance Action Items

The Items tab on the Acceptance Action Summary lists all of the items associated with the material or material category acceptance action. Associating a reference item with a material or material category acceptance action indicates that the acceptance action applies only when the material is used for work on that item.

If a material or material category acceptance action is not associated with specific items or item families (i.e., the Items tab and the Item Families tabs are empty), the acceptance action applies whenever the material is used.  

Each row represents one associated reference item. You can view values in these fields:

To delete an association between the acceptance action and an item, select Delete from the Actions menu on the item row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button. To save the changes, click the Save button.

To add an association between the acceptance action and one or more items, click the Select Items button. In the modal window, select the items you want to associate, and then click the Add to Acceptance Action button. The system adds the selected items to the list on the Items tab. Click the Save button.

The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
