The Item Families tab on the Acceptance Action Summary lists all of the item families associated with the material or material category acceptance action. Associating an item family with a material or material category acceptance action indicates that the acceptance action applies only when the material is used for work on items in that item family.
If a material or material category acceptance action is not associated with specific items or item families (i.e., the Items tab and the Item Families tabs are empty), the acceptance action applies whenever the material is used.
Each row represents one associated item family. You can view values in these fields:
To delete an association between the acceptance action and an item family, select Delete from the Actions menu on the item family row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button. To save the changes, click the Save button.
To add an association between the acceptance action and one or more item families, click the Select Item Families button. In the modal window, select the item families you want to associate, and then click the Add to Acceptance Action button. The system adds the selected item families to the list on the Item Families tab. Click the Save button.
The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
