Maintaining Item Reference Prices

The Reference Prices tab on the Item Summary component contains an accordion list of all the reference prices associated with the item. Reference prices are recurring prices that can be used for estimation purposes. The prices might be a static dollar amount, or they might be derived from a formula.

Each row represents one reference price and includes an Actions button. Click a row to expand it and display all the available information. You can view or change values in these fields:

Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.

You can enter a number in the Amount field, or you can click the Formula button (Σ) in the field to calculate the value by using the expression builder (see Using the Expression Builder).

To delete a reference price from the list, select Delete from the Actions menu on the reference price row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button.

To add a new reference price for this item, click the New button. The system adds a new blank row. To create a new reference price, you must enter a value in the Reference Price ID and Description fields. After you save the new reference price, these fields are read-only.

When you are finished, click the Save button to apply your changes (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
