Maintaining Federal Labor Ethnic Groups

The Federal Labor Ethnic Group Overview enables you to enter and maintain the latest federal labor ethnic groups. After federal labor ethnic groups are entered here, they are available to be mapped to a federal DBE ethnic code on the Ethnic Group Summary. Federal DBE ethnic codes are entered and maintained on the Federal DBE Ethnic Group Overview (see Maintaining Federal DBE Ethnic Groups).

To access the overview, click the Federal Labor Ethnic Groups link in the System Administration component.

Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:

You can enter or change the value in the End Dt field, but the remaining fields are read-only.

To add a new federal job classification, click the New button. The system adds a new blank row to the list. To save the new job classification, you must enter values in the Fed Job Class Descr and Start Dt fields. When you save the new classification, these fields become read-only.

To delete an ethnic group, select Delete from the Actions menu on the job classification row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
