Maintaining Federal DBE Ethnic Groups

The Federal DBE Ethnic Group Overview enables you to enter and maintain the latest federal DBE ethnic groups. After federal DBE ethnic groups are entered here, they are available to be mapped to a federal labor ethnic code on the Ethnic Group Summary. Federal labor ethnic codes are entered and maintained on the Federal Labor Ethnic Group Overview (see Maintaining Federal Labor Ethnic Groups).

To access the Federal DBE Ethnic Group Overview, click the Federal DBE Ethnic Groups link in the System Administration component.

Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:

You can enter or change the value in the End Dt field, but the remaining fields are read-only.

To add a new DBE ethnic group, click the New button. The system adds a new blank row to the list. To save the new ethnic group, you must enter values in the Fed DBE Ethnic Descr and Start Dt fields. When you save the new ethnic group, these fields become read-only.

To delete an ethnic group, select Delete from the Actions menu on the ethnic group row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
