Maintaining Contract Vendor Staff

Employees of the vendor who are paid on a salaried basis are referred to as vendor staff.

The Staff tab on the Contract Vendor Asset Summary contains a list of all of the prime contractor's staff members who are associated with the contract. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To change information in a staff row, click anywhere in the row. Click in any field and add or change information as required.

To delete a staff row, select Delete form the Actions menu on the row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

Adding a Vendor Staff Row

To add a new vendor staff row for the contract, navigate to the Contract Vendor Asset Summary, click the Staff tab, and then click the New button. The system adds a new row at the bottom of the list. All fields in the new row are blank.

To save the row, you must enter information in all fields that display a red asterisk. Record information in other fields as needed.

When you are finished adding information, click the Save button to apply your changes. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.

Adding Vendor Staff from Reference Data

To add new vendor staff for the contract by selecting the staff from reference data, follow these steps:

  1. On the Contract Vendor Asset Summary, click the Staff tab, and then choose Select Vendor Staff from the list Actions menu.

    The system displays a modal window for selecting vendor staff.

  2. Locate the staff rows you want to select by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.

    The modal window lists vendor staff that match your criteria.

  3. Click each staff row you want to add.

    The system adds a check mark beside each row you select and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  4. When you are finished selecting staff rows, click the Add to Contract Vendor button.

    The system closes the modal window and adds the new vendor staff to the list on the Staff tab of the Contract Vendor Asset Summary.

  5. When you are finished, click the Save button to apply your changes.

    The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
