Maintaining Supplied Material Sources for a Source Material 

A supplied material is a source material that is supplied to another source (e.g., aggregate from a pit that is used at an asphalt plant). It includes an association between a reference material, the source where the material is used, and the source that manufactured or supplied that material.
The Supplied Material Sources tab on the Source Material Summary component contains a list of identifications for the source material. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To change the information for a supplied material source, click the Source ID link on the supplied material source row. See Maintaining a Source.


The row Actions menu has the following functions: 

Actions

Select Delete to delete a supplied material source record. Select the Undo button to reverse the delete action. Click the Save button when you are finished.

Select Open to open a supplied material source record. See Maintaining a Source Material.

Views

Select Attachments to manage attachments in a project. See Working with Attachments.

Select Links to manage links in a project. See Working with Links.

Select Tracked Issues to manage tracked issues for a project. See Maintaining Tracked Issue Information.

If your agency has associated agency views, they will display in this section, alphabetically. Select an agency view to go to the Agency View Summary component. You can modify data in agency views with an Active association, and view data in Inactive agency views where data exists.
Click the Save button when you are finished.

Adding a New Supplied Material Source

When you add a supplied material source to a source material, you select an active source material from reference data already entered in the system. To add a new supplied material source, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the Select Sources... button.

    The system displays the Select Sources modal window.

  2. Locate the source you want by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box, or by clicking Show First 10.

  3. Click a source row to select it.

    A check mark appears at the beginning of the row to indicate it is selected. Continue selecting source rows as needed. You can click a row again to clear the selection.

  4. When you are finished selecting sources, click the Add to Supplied Sources button.
