Recording Notes on a DWR

The Notes tab on the Contract Daily Work Report Summary contains a list of all the notes recorded for the Daily Work Report (DWR). Notes may contain any type of information related to the DWR and can be added or deleted at any time, regardless of the DWR status. Unlike remarks, you have the option to include or not include notes as part of the permanent DWR record.

Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To change the text in a note, click anywhere in that row. The system highlights the row in blue. Click in the text box and type or delete text as needed.

To add a new note to the DWR, click the New button. The system adds a new row to the list. Values are automatically set for all fields except the DWR Note. Click in the DWR Note text box and type or paste the information you want to record. The system automatically wraps text to a new line, but if you want to start a new paragraph, press ENTER. You can also use the Windows Copy (CTRL+C) and Paste (CTRL+V) commands to copy and paste text from other applications.

To delete a note, select Delete from the Actions menu on the note's row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
