The Destination Sources/Facilities tab on the DSR Material component is used to record the quantities of the DSR material shipped to other sources and facilities. When shipped quantities are recorded here, the system automatically updates the net inventory quantity of the linked SMFMI. If your agency has set the Update Destination SMFMI with DSR Material Destination Quantity agency option to Yes, then the system also updates the net inventory quantity on the appropriate SMFMI at the receiving source or facility. If no matching SMFMI already exists, the system creates a new SMFMI with a quantity of 0 and net inventory quantity matching the quantity of material received.

Information on the Destination Sources/Facilities tab is organized into separate sections for materials shipped to each destination type, either sources or facilities. Expand and collapse each section as needed.

Materials Shipped to Facilities

The Facilities section on the Destination Sources/Facilities tab contains a list of all the recorded quantities of the DSR material that have been shipped to facilities. Each row displays an Actions menu and values for these fields:

To add or change quantities of a material shipped, click in the Quantity field on the material row and type a new value.

To delete a material shipped to a facility, select Delete from the row Actions menu on the material row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

Adding Material Quantities Shipped to a Facility

Follow these steps to add one or more DSR material quantities that have been shipped to a facility:

  1. In the Facilities section on the Destination Sources/Facilities tab, click the Select Facilities button.

The system displays a window for selecting facilities. All active facilities are listed.

  2. In the Select Facilities window, use the Quick Find search box to locate the facility to which you shipped materials.

The system lists all the facilities that match your search criteria.

  3. Click each facility to which you shipped this DSR material.

The system adds a check mark beside each facility you select. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  4. Click the Add to Destination Facilities button.

The system closes the window and takes you to the Destination Sources/Facilities tab of the DSR Material component with rows for the new facilities added to the list.

  5. Type the quantity of the DSR material that was shipped in the Quantity field of each new row.

  6. Click the Save button.

The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

The entered quantity is subtracted from the Net Inventory Quantity and Pending Net Inventory Quantity fields on the linked SMFMI. If your agency has set the Update Destination SMFMI with DSR Material Destination Quantity agency option to Yes, the system also adds the entered quantity to the Net Inventory Quantity and Pending Net Inventory Quantity fields on an SMFMI at the destination facility. That SMFMI is selected as follows: If the destination facility already has an active SMFMI with the same material, name, and brand name as the linked SMFMI, then the update is made on that matching SMFMI. If the destination facility has an active association to the same material but no SMFMI with the same name, then the system creates a new SMFMI and sets its Quantity to 0 and its Net Inventory Quantity and Pending Net Inventory Quantity equal to the quantity entered on the Destination Facility.

Materials Shipped to Sources
