Managing Process Status

When you are logged on to the system using the Admin role, you can monitor the status of all processes that have been executed in the system by all users, including interfaces and the processes that are currently scheduled to run on an automatic basis. Administrators should routinely monitor process status and delete any scheduled processes that are no longer needed.

The Process Status Overview component contains a rolling list of all the processes that have been executed in the system, including system and scheduled processes. To access the Process Status Overview, click the Process Status link in the System Administration component.

Information in the Process Status Overview is grouped on three tabs, located on the left side of the component. The component opens on the Process History tab, which allows you to view the status and output of processes that have been generated manually.

You can locate a specific process by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box. You can also filter the list to show only recent, older, or processes currently running by selecting the appropriate value in the Status field above the list.

Each row includes an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

If output files have been generated by the process, the file name appears as a blue link in the Output Files field. You can open the output file to view it or save it by clicking the blue link. For more information, see Viewing and Saving Process Output Files.

Process status records can be deleted in this component, but not changed. To delete a process status record, select Delete from the Actions menu on the appropriate row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button. To save your changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
