Maintaining a Reference Crew

The Crew Summary contains all of the information recorded for a reference crew, including associated laborers and equipment. To access the summary, navigate to the Crew Overview, and select Open from the Actions menu on the appropriate row.

If you are adding a new reference crew, you can access the Add Crew page by selecting Add from the Actions menu on the Crew Overview component header. The system takes you to the Add Crew page with all of the fields blank.

The Crew and Description fields are displayed at the top of the component. The lower portion of the component includes rows of reference laborers and reference equipment associated with the crew.

Click in a field and add, delete, or modify information. If you are adding a new reference crew, you must enter values in the Crew and Description fields.

To add a new laborer or equipment row, click the New button in the appropriate section. The system adds a new blank row. To save the new row, you must enter values in all required fields.

To delete a laborer or equipment row, select Delete from the Actions menu on the laborer or equipment row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved. If you are adding a new reference crew, the system displays it on the Crew Summary.

To copy the crew, select Copy from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Copy Crew component. See Copying a Reference Crew for more information.

To add a new crew, select Add New from the Actions menu on the Crew Summary component header. The system takes you to the Add Crew page with all of the fields blank. You must enter values in the Crew and Description fields in order to save the new crew. When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays the new crew on the Crew Summary, and it displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
