The Cost Estimate Item Cost Sheet Summary contains all of the information recorded for a cost sheet price task associated with a cost estimate item. You can access the summary by navigating to the Cost Estimate Item Cost Sheet Overview, and selecting Open from the Actions menu on the price task row.
The summary opens on the General tab. You can view or change information in these fields:
In the row subheader:
In the row detail:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed. When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
Note: If your agency has set the Prohibit Multiple Active Price Bases agency option to Yes, the item can have only one price task active at a time unless the active price tasks are in the same task group.
To copy reference laborers and equipment from a crew and add them to the cost sheet, select Copy From Crew on the component Actions menu. The system displays a modal window for selecting reference crews. Select one or more crews, and then click the Copy button. The system closes the modal window and adds the crew laborers and equipment to the cost sheet.
To view reference production rates, select View Production Rates from the Actions menu on the component header. The system displays a modal window that lists production rates saved as reference data. If you identify a production rate that is appropriate for the cost sheet, make note of the value. When you close the modal window, you can enter the value in the Production Rate field, or you can enter a different value in the field as needed.
To recommend the cost sheet price task to be available to other users as a reference cost sheet, select Recommend as Reference from the Actions menu on the component header. This action is available only if the cost sheet price task does not already have a recommendation waiting to be approved, rejected, or deleted (see Reviewing Reference Recommendations).
To remove the recommended cost sheet price task from consideration as a reference cost sheet, select Cancel Recommendation from the Actions menu on the component header. This action is available only if the cost sheet price task has a recommendation that has not been approved, rejected, or deleted (see Reviewing Reference Recommendations).
