Maintaining Subcontractor Truck Types

The Truck Types tab of the Subcontract Summary component contains all the truck type information for the selected subcontract. The upper part of the component displays the following subcontract trucking totals:

• Total Calculated Extended Amount

• Total Number of Trucks Subcontracted

• Subcontracted to DBE Firms

• Subcontracted to Non-DBE Firms

The lower part of the tab contains a rolling list of all of the truck types currently associated with the subcontract. Each row represents one truck type and includes an Actions button.

To access more information about a truck type, click anywhere in the truck type row to expand it and display all the available information. You can view or change information in these fields:

• Trucking Firm

• Lease Amount per Truck

• Number of Trucks

• Type of Truck

• Lease Unit

• Estimated Quantity of Units

To add a truck type to the subcontract, click the New button. The system adds a new blank row at the bottom of the list. To create a truck type record, you must enter information in all fields.

To delete a newly added truck type row, click the Delete button at the end of the row.

To delete a saved truck type, select Delete from the Actions menu on the truck type row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
