Maintaining Special Provision Information

Special provisions are additional textual requirements or other specifications that can be applied to a proposal. As a reference record, a special provision can be linked to any proposals that have that provisional requirement.

When you click the Special Provisions link in the Reference Data component, the system takes you to the Reference Special Provisions Overview component where you can add, change and delete information contained in a special provision row. Type criteria in the Quick Find search box to locate the special provision you want to maintain, or click Show first 10.

The system displays a list of row for all the special provisions in the system that meet your search criteria. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

You can change the Obsolete Date in the rolling list or click the Reference Special Provision ID link to change additional information, including the text of the special provision.

To add a new reference special provision to the system, select Add from the Actions menu on the component header (see Adding a Reference Special Provision for more information).

To delete a reference special provision, select Delete from the Actions menu on the special provision's row.

When you have finished maintaining special provisions, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
