Maintaining Sample Location Information

The Sample Location tab on the Sample Record Summary includes information about the location where the material sample was taken. You can view or change information in these fields:

• Sampled From

• Sample Origin

• Geographic Area

• Latitude

• Longitude

• Distance From Grade

• Distance From Grade Units

• Reference

• Station

• Station Plus

• Offset Distance

• Offset Direction

• Elevation

• Comments

To view or change spatial coordinate information for the sample location, expand the Location section. You can add or change information in these fields:

• Start Coordinate X

• Start Coordinate Y

• Start Coordinate Z

• Start Location Method

• Start Location Quality

• Start Location Quality Unit

• Start Location Issue

• Start Location Created By

• Start Location Created Date

• Start Location Last Updated By

• Start Location Last Updated Date

• Start Location End Active Date

• End Coordinate X

• End Coordinate Y

• End Coordinate Z

• End Location Method

• End Location Quality

• End Location Quality Unit

• End Location Issue

• End Location Created By

• End Location Created Date
