Maintaining Reference Contract Times

Contract times are records of time-related information important to the contract. There are five types of contract time records: Available Time, Calendar Time, Completion Date, Informational, and Recurring. Examples of contract times include the notice to proceed date (informational), the number of available days for contract completion (available time), and the schedule for inspections (recurring).
Reference contract times are predefined contract time records that are either added to a contract automatically when it is transitioned from Preconstruction to Construction or added manually during the contract's lifecycle.

When you click the Contract Time link in the Reference Data component, the system takes you to the Reference Contract Time Overview component where you can add, change, and delete information contained in reference contract time rows. Type criteria in the Quick Find search box to locate the reference contract time row you want to work with, or click Show first 10 to display all the reference contract times in the system.

The system displays a list of rows for all the reference contract times in the system that match your search criteria. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To change the information in a reference contract time, click the Time ID link in the list. For more information, see Changing a Reference Contract Time.

To add a new reference contract time to the system, select Add from the Actions menu on the component header. For more information, see Adding a Reference Contract Time.

To delete a reference contract time, select Delete from the Actions menu on the reference contract time row. Click the Save button to apply your changes to the system.
