Adding a Reference Contract Time

Reference contract times are predefined contract time records that are either added to a contract automatically when it is transitioned from Preconstruction to Construction or added manually during the contract's lifecycle.

To add a new reference contract time, go to the Add Reference Contract Time component by selecting Add from the Actions menu on the Reference Contract Time Overview component header.

To save a new reference contract time, you must enter information in these fields:

Time ID
Time Description
Comments
Time Type

It is not required, but you can enter information in these fields to record additional information about the reference contract time:

Time Unit
Agency Type
Default on New Contract
Allow Duplicate ID on Contract
Delete Allowed
Required For
Chargeable
Calculate Liquidated Damage or Disincentive
Calculate Incentive
Frequency

Click Save when you are finished. The system displays a message to confirm that the new information was saved in the database.
