Maintaining Proposal Wage Decisions

The Proposal Wage Decision Overview component provides access to all the wage decisions that are currently associated with the proposal. Wage decisions are not associated directly with the proposal, but rather with the projects in the proposal.

To access the Proposal Wage Decision Overview, click the Wage Decisions Quick link on the Proposal Summary component.

You can display the wage decisions for a project by clicking in the Projects box on the component subheader, and then selecting the Project ID in the list. You can also select a project by using the arrow buttons on the right side of the subheader to scroll through all the projects associated with the proposal.

In the upper part of the component, the system displays the following information for the project currently selected in the Projects box:

Below this header information, the component displays a view-only list of the counties recorded in the proposal as locations where the work will take place. For each county in the list, the system displays values in the following fields:

Below the list of counties, the component displays the wage decisions for the selected project in the proposal. Each wage decision row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To delete a wage decision from the project, select Delete from the Actions menu on the wage decision row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button. To save your changes, click the Save button.

Adding Wage Decisions to a Project

Follow these steps to add one or more wage decisions to the project selected in the component subheader:

  1. Click the Select Wage Decisions button.

    The system displays the Select Wage Decisions modal window.

  2. In the modal window, locate the wage decision you want to add by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or click Show first 10.

    The system lists all the wage decisions that meet your search criteria.

  3. Click the row for each wage decision you want to add.

    The system adds a check mark beside each record you select and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  4. Click the Add to Project button.

    The system closes the modal window and displays the new wage decisions on the Proposal Wage Decision Overview. The wage decision is attached to the project and is also available on the Project Wage Decision Overview.

  5. Click the Save button.

    The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

  6. Note: When you are adding a wage decision to a project in a proposal, the wage decision's Issuing Authority must match one of the proposal project's Fund Types.
