Maintaining Pricing Service Permissions

The AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics software provides a pricing service that uses custom or default pricing profiles to generate item prices and scatter plot diagrams based on historical bid data. Agencies that use Estimator with AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics can use this pricing service directly from Estimator, but must first grant permission in AASHTOWare Project to each Estimator user that generates item prices.
The Pricing Service Permission Overview contains a list of all the permissions currently assigned to users. To access this component, click the Pricing Service Permissions link in the System Administration component.
Each row displays an Actions button and current values for the Name and Desc fields.
To change a pricing service permission, click anywhere in the permission row. The system highlights the row and displays information in labeled fields. You can change information in either field.
To delete a pricing service permission, select Delete from the Actions menu on the permission row. The system shades the row to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
Adding a Pricing Service Permission
To assign a pricing service permission to a user, click the New button. The system adds a new row at the bottom of the list. All fields in the new row are blank.
To create a new pricing service permission, you must enter information in these required fields:
When you have finished making changes to pricing service permissions, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system. The system displays a message to confirm that the new information was saved in the database.
