Maintaining Person Qualifications

The Person Qualification Summary component lists all the qualifications currently recorded in a person record. To access the Person Qualification Summary, locate the Person row on the Person Qualification Overview and click the link in the Last Name field or select Open from the row Actions menu.

The Person Qualifications Summary component opens on the General tab, which allows you to view or change the following information:

• Person ID

• Last Name

• First Name

• Middle Initial

• Previous Last Name

• Supervisor

• Title

• Primary Lab

• Geographic Area

• Email on File

• User

• Email Required

• Ref Employee

• Sampler

• Exempt Sampler

• Sample Reviewer

• Exempt Sample Reviewer

• Welder

• Calibrator

• Exempt Calibrator

• Tester

• Exempt Tester

• Stormwater Inspector

Click in a field and add, change or delete information as required. 

To record a remark, first select the type of remark from the Type field, then enter explanatory text in the Remarks text box. To delete a newly added remark, click the Delete button to the right of the remark. You can delete a saved remark by clicking the Mark for Deletion button. You can undo the mark for deletion by clicking the Undo button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

To maintain additional qualifications for the person, click the following tabs:

Tester	Click this tab to maintain information about the tests the person is qualified to perform (see Maintaining Tester Qualifications).
Tester Labs	Click this tab to maintain the laboratories in which the tester is qualified to work (see Maintaining Tester Labs).
Sampler	Click this tab to maintain information about the sampling techniques the person is qualified to perform (see Maintaining Sampler Qualifications).
Sampler Labs	Click this tab to maintain the laboratories in which the sampler is qualified to work (see Maintaining Sampler Labs).
Sample Reviewer	Click this tab to maintain the product groups for which the person is qualified to review samples (see Maintaining Sample Reviewer Qualifications).
Calibrator	Click this tab to maintain information about the calibrations the person is qualified to perform (see Maintaining Calibrator Qualifications).
Calibrator Labs	Click this tab to maintain the laboratories in which the calibrator is qualified to work (see Maintaining Calibrator Labs).
Welder	Click this tab to maintain information about the welding techniques the person is qualified to perform (see Maintaining Welder Qualifications)
Stormwater Inspector	Click this tab to maintain information about the person's qualifications for inspecting stormwater events (see Maintaining Storm Inspector Qualifications)
