Maintaining Milestones for a Life Cycle Maintenance Schedule Profile

The Milestones tab lists rows of maintenance tasks that are expected to be performed at certain milestones throughout the life span of an improvement. Milestones can include one or more items that are needed to complete the maintenance task.

Each milestone row includes an Actions button and values in the Maintenance Milestone and Maintenance Milestone Year fields.

You can expand a milestone row to display rows of associated items. Each item row includes an Actions button and values in the Item and Unit fields.

To add a new milestone to the profile, click the New button. The system adds a new milestone row. To save the new milestone, you must enter values in the Maintenance Milestone and Maintenance Milestone Year fields.

To delete a milestone and its associated items from the profile, select Delete from the Actions menu on the milestone row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

To delete an item from a milestone, select Delete from the Actions menu on the item row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

To add a single item to a milestone, select Add Item from the Actions menu on the milestone row. The system adds a new item row below the selected milestone. To save the new item, you must enter a value in the Item field. The system automatically enters the appropriate value in the Unit field.

To add one or more items to a milestone at the same time, choose Select Reference Items from the Actions menu on the milestone row. The system displays a modal window for selecting reference items. Click the rows for the items you want to add to the profile. When you are finished selecting items, click Add to Profile. The system closes the modal window and adds rows for the items you selected.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
