The Items tab on the Contingency Assignment Profile Summary includes a list of items associated with risk factors in the contingency assignment profile. Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:
Click in either field to modify information as needed.
To delete an item from the profile, select Delete from the Actions menu on the item row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
To add an item to the profile, click the New button. The system adds a blank row to the list. To save the new row, you must enter a value in the Item and Risk Factor fields. The value in the Risk Factor field associates the item with one of the risk factors in the profile. You can only select a risk factor for which the Assignment Level field is set to Cost Estimate Item.
You can also select one or more reference items by clicking the Select Items button (see Selecting Items to Add to Risk Factors on a Profile).
When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
To select one or more reference items to associate with a single risk factor on the profile, perform these steps:
On the Items tab on the Contingency Assignment Profile Summary, click the Select Items button.
The system displays a modal window that lists reference items from the same spec book and unit system as the profile.
Click the rows for the items you want to add.
A check mark appears at the beginning of the row to indicate it is selected. Continue selecting items as needed. You can click a row again to clear the selection.
It is not required, but you can enter a value in the Risk Factor field to associate the selected items with one of the risk factors in the profile.
When you are finished, click the Add to Profile button.
The system closes the modal window and adds rows for the items you selected to the item list. If you did not enter a risk factor when selecting items, you must enter a value in the Risk Factor field of each item before you can save the new items.
