When you click the Facilities link in the Reference Data component, the system takes you to the Facility Overview where you can view, copy, or delete reference data about facilities. Locate a specific facility by scrolling through the list or by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box. The system displays a list of rows for facilities that match your search criteria.
Each facility row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:
To view more information about a facility, select Open from the Actions menu on the facility row. See Maintaining a Facility.
To copy a facility to use as a basis for creating a new facility, select Copy from the Actions menu on the facility row. See Copying a Facility.
Note: New facilities are created on the Source Summary component for the source that owns the facility. See Creating a New Facility.
To delete a facility from the system, select Delete from the Actions menu on the facility row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button. When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
Note: You cannot delete a facility using this procedure if the facility includes information on tabs other than the General tab in the Facility Summary component. If a facility you want to delete includes such information, display the facility in the Facility Summary component and delete the additional information.
