Maintaining Equipment Information

When you click the Equipment link in the Reference Data or Estimation Reference Data components, the system takes you to the Equipment Overview, where you can add, delete, and modify reference equipment records used in cost-based estimation. After equipment records are entered in the system, they can be added to reference crews and cost sheets, which can be associated with items and cost estimate items.

Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:

To delete an equipment record, select Delete from the Actions menu on the equipment row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button. To save your change click the Save button.

To view or modify an equipment record, click the Equipment link or select Open from the Actions menu on the equipment row. The system takes you to the Equipment Summary. See Maintaining Reference Equipment for more information.

To add a new equipment record, select Add from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Add Equipment page. See Maintaining Reference Equipment for more information.
