Maintaining Contractors for a Force Account

  1. Adding Contractors to the Force Account

The Contractors tab on the Force Account Summary contains a list of all the contractors assigned to this force account. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To change information for a contractor on the force account, locate the contractor's row and click the link in the Vendor ID field. The system takes you to the Force Account Contractor Summary (see Maintaining Contractor Information for a Force Account)

To delete a contractor from the force account, select Delete from the Actions menu on the contractor row. The system shades the row to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

Adding Contractors to the Force Account

Before you can add information or submit charges for a contractor on a DWR for a force account, the contractor must be added to the force account record.

Follow the steps below to add one or more contractors to the force account. To be added to a force account, a contractor must first be associated with the contract.

  1. Click the Select Contractors button.

    The system displays a modal window for selecting contractors on the contract.

  2. Locate the contractor you want to add to the force account by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or by clicking Show first 10.

    The system lists all the contractors that meet your search criteria.

  3. Click the row for each contractor you want to add.

    The system adds a check mark beside each contractor you select and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  4. Click the Add to Force Account Contractors button.

    The system closes the modal window and adds a row for each contractor added to the list on the Contractors tab.

  5. Click the Save button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
