The Categories tab on the Contract Project Summary component contains an accordion list of all the categories in the contract project. Each row in the list represents one category and displays an Actions button and current values for the Category ID and Category Description.
To maintain a contract project category, expand the row to display all the available information. You can view or change the following information:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as required.
Note: You cannot change or delete a category that contains items associated with a contract payment estimate.
To add a new category to the contract project, click the New button. The system adds a new row at the bottom of the list of categories. All fields in the new row are blank. You must enter information in the Category ID and Category Description fields.
To delete a category, select Delete from the Actions menu on the category row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
Click Save when you are finished. The system displays a message to confirm that the new information was saved in the database.
