Maintaining Bid Notes

The Notes tab on the Bid Entry Summary component contains the Bid Notes field, which is a text box you can use to store brief written comments about the bid. Click in the text box and type or paste the information you want to record. Bid Notes will save up to 4,000 characters.

The system automatically wraps text to a new line, but if you want to start a new paragraph, press Enter. You can use the Windows Copy (CTRL+C) and Paste (CTRL+V) commands to copy and paste text from other applications.

When you are finished entering notes for the vendor's bid, click the Save button to apply your changes. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
