Maintaining Bid Items

The Items tab on the Bid Entry Summary component contains detailed bid item information for the selected proposal vendor. If bids have been submitted for this vendor, current values for the following bid totals are displayed in the upper section of the component:

Below the bid totals section, the component contains a rolling list of all the proposal bid items submitted by the selected vendor, grouped by section. Each section row contains the number of items in the section and current values for these fields:

You can expand a section row to display rows for the items included in that section. Each bid item row displays current values for the following fields:

To change information in a bid item record, click anywhere in that row. The system highlights the row in blue. You can add or change the bid price or extended amount for any proposal item (except fixed-price items).  

When you are finished maintaining bid items, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database. If you entered a new bid price, the system updates the extended amount for the bid item.
