In order to use an agency view to record contract item information on a Daily Work Report (DWR), the agency view must first be associated with the reference item, and then that association must be added to the corresponding contract item. For agency views based on the DWR Item Posting entity, the Agency View Associations to DWR Item Postings component enables you to add new reference item associations, and modify existing contract item associations.
You can access the component by navigating to the Agency View Overview, locating the row for an agency view associated with the DWR Item Posting entity, and selecting Agency View Associations from the row Actions menu.
The component displays a list of all the associations between the agency view and reference items. Each row displays an Actions button and current values for these fields:
Expand an item row to display any contract item associations in subordinate rows. Each row displays an Actions button and current values for these fields:
You can modify values in the status and date fields to indicate the status of an association with a reference item or a contract item. For contract item associations, you can also indicate whether use of the agency view on the item posting is required by selecting the Required check box.
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.
To add an association between the agency view and a reference item, click the Select Items button. In the modal window, select the reference items you want to associate, and then click the Add to Agency View button. To save your changes, click the Save button.
To delete a reference item association, navigate to the DWR Agency View Reference Item Association Overview by clicking the Item link in the appropriate row (see Maintaining DWR Agency Views for Reference Items).
To add or delete a contract item association, navigate to the DWR Agency View Contract Item Association Overview by clicking the Contract link in the appropriate row (see Maintaining DWR Agency View Contract Item Associations).
