Maintaining DWR Agency View Contract Item Associations

For agency personnel to use agency views to record contract item information on a Daily Work Report (DWR), you must first associate the agency view with the reference item and then add that association to the corresponding contract item. If an agency view is used to enter data but the agency view association becomes inactive, users can view but not add or modify data displayed in the agency view.

The DWR Agency View Contract Item Association Overview allows you to add DWR agency view/reference item associations to a contract item. You can then maintain the contract item association as needed.

To access the DWR Agency View Contract Item Association Overview, navigate to the General tab of the Contract Items component, locate the contract item in the list, and then select DWR Agency View Contract Item Associations from the Actions menu on the contract item row.

If a DWR agency view/reference item association has already been added to the contract item, the component displays the association in an accordion row. The row contains an Actions button and current values for these fields:

To maintain a DWR agency view/reference item association, expand the row to display information in labeled fields. You can change information in the Effective DateExpiration Date, and Status fields. For each contract item, only one DWR agency view/reference item association can be marked as required by selecting the Agency View Required check box.

To remove the DWR agency view/reference item association from the contract item, select Delete from the Actions menu on the association row. This does not delete the DWR agency view/reference item association from the system, only from this contract item.

When you are finished maintaining the DWR agency view/reference item association for the contract item, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

Adding a DWR Agency View/Reference Item Association to a Contract Item

Follow these steps to add a DWR agency view/reference item association to the contract item:

  1. On the DWR Agency View Contract Item Association Overview, click the Select DWR Agency View Reference Item Associations button.

    The system displays a modal window for selecting a DWR agency view reference item association.

  2. Type criteria in the Quick Find search box to locate the association you want to add to the contract item.

    The system lists all the associations that meet your search criteria.

  3. Click the row for the association you want to add.

    The system adds a check mark beside the association and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  4. Click the Add to Contract Item button.

    The system closes the modal window and takes you to the DWR Agency View Contract Item Association Overview with the new DWR agency view/reference item association added to the list.

  5. Click the Save button.
