Exporting a Proposal to SiteManager

SiteManager is an AASHTOWare Project client/server application used by many agencies to manage the road and bridge construction that results from agency proposals. After a proposal has been awarded to a bidder in a bid letting, the information that was recorded for the proposal and the winning bid in Preconstruction can be exported to SiteManager for the contract record. Related reference information is also exported.

The system exports the federal project number for the proposal if it is recorded. If the proposal does not have a federal project number but includes a state project number, the system exports the state project number.

To create the export CSV files for importing into SiteManager, select Execute System Interface from the Actions menu on the Menu Bar, and select Export to SiteManager in the list of interfaces. For more information about executing interfaces, see Executing System Interfaces.

The system generates two export files and saves them in agency's default location on the server with the default names SITEMANAGER_CONTRACT.CSV and SITEMANAGER_REFERENCE.CSV (overwriting any existing export files with the same names). You must have access to the file location on the server in order to access the export files.

The system also generates a log file containing a summary of the total number of proposals that were successfully exported and how many failed, followed by each exported proposal and each error that occurred listed by letting and proposal. The log file is saved in the default location with the default name SITEMANAGER_EXPORT.LOG (overwriting any existing log file with the same name). You can view the log files from the Process History Overview component. For information about how to view process log files, see Viewing Process History.

If you need to export a proposal that has been previously exported to SiteManager, clear the proposal's Passed to Construction Date field, save the proposal, and run the export process again.
