Exporting Project Information to Estimator

The Export Project to Estimator process saves data for one project in an .xml format that is compatible with Estimator. You can also use this process with the Project Entry Spreadsheet, a macro-enabled spreadsheet that streamlines data entry for projects.

To export information for a project using this process, select Execute Process from the Actions menu on the Menu Bar and choose Export Project to Estimator in the list of processes on the Execute Process component. See Executing Processes.

Entering project data with the Project Entry Spreadsheet

To use the Project Entry Spreadsheet:

1. Download the .xltm file from aashtowareproject.org.

2. Open the file in Microsoft Excel.

3. Click the Help tab to access detailed instructions for:

   • Aligning this template with agency customizations.

   • Loading reference data into the template.

   • Adding, editing, and clearing existing project data from the template.

   • Loading project data from the template into AASHTOWare Project.
